You are a tribe,and that makes all the difference.
Too many bands forget what they are doing and why they do it,but you seem to know why,even if you aren't sure how to get there. But I think you know,and I think all of you are doing it.
My band has gone through so many changes itself that I know what it feels like to not have a family in the group you are supposed to be so close to. But we have prevailed over the non-believers and pompous-asses to come out with our strongest family bonds yet.
Truly in the end that is what will keep it all going. You have those bonds it seems,and that will make the difference.
Who the hell wants to be a disposable rock star,when you could have meaning? I agree-fuck the rock star crap. Some of the worst bands in the world somehow have people whispering in their ears how great they are so much,that they start to believe it,and they act that way.
APOX will stay grounded,and will be there when the others come and go.
I will be attending your show for the first time,as well as Nocturne in Jacksonville,NC tomorrow night,and I can't wait. But forgive me if I don't reveal myself,I tend to get rather shy in person.
