Hybrid pirate punk goths & Sushi cravings

First of all I want to thank all of you who have spoken with us on the road and shared your thoughts, your dreams, and your inspiration. We will be writing as many of you as we can once we get back home.I also want to thank those of you who have shared moments in this journal. It has touched me in a special deep way. I will be home soon and reading, writing you back, and preparing for the next leg of our tour. I hope I can meet some of you.
The last week or so has continued down the path APOX knows sooo well, but each night brought us new friends, & new connections with possible future adventures waiting to happen.
We also learned that Cyndi Lauper listened to our cover of Time after Time. That made us smile. I also met several singers, dancers, and song writers with interest in working on material with us. One memory that stands out was an elder kindred country man in a Georgia Waffle House who had the courage to approach us with his Biz-card and expressed interest in working together on a country song. He shared stories of long ago glory days in a shy fashion maybe even intimidated by the dark angel tribe before him. Me & Kat were very excited, the idea of an authentic song from the heart of the South with a steel string twang & a electronic thud sounds promising.
Anyway, there were many cool kindred souls that flutter in my thoughts, Hanna, Dagger, Michael, Scott, Nocturne, CandyXXX and so many others. I am wounded but I grow stronger everyday thanx to you all. My personal struggle like so many of you is never ending, and sometimes it kicks my ass, but I will keep trying to find a way to make something that I can share with all of you.
Something that is real. That helps us help each other. Thanx for the smiles, the hugs, the support, the hunger, and the love.
I am not sure how this story ends, but I will get there.

angry angels forever
V. Mercy

V,

Thanks for playing a scene as small as the one in Cola. It was a great show, felt good and familiar. I hope to hear and see more of all of you in the near future.

I am listening to the the track as I type. I read some of the other critiques which mentioned louder vocals but I had no trouble with the seperation.
I think the music is pretty good, and overall I like the production. it is a lil raw, but it is, after all the first MP3 by you both together/1000 miles apart- and in that respect- it is pretty good.

I am in love with your vocal tone, I hope we can work together. Where is this other partner based? Did I read WisconSIN or am I making that up? hehehe
it is early in the morning right now and I am in overdrive creative mode. But, maybe I can add him to the mix as well.
I am also interested in turning Anthem & Junkyard into Russian speak. Junkyard is on the CD I gave you at the show. Sooo, there you have it..I told you I would contact you about music. We can bounce e-mails (apoxtheatre@aol.com) & LJ responses and talk shop until it is time to use the dreaded phone and record some material in our studio. Maybe we can do some of it through the magic of computers like this KhimiKat track which is now in its 4th repeat.
I also checked out your gallery but I had trouble viewing anything but thumbnails, they looked good though.

Thanks for coming... For the Atlanta scene, that was a small (though nice) club and a miniscule crowd... But you performace was very enjoyable, almost intimate, and I'm glad I was able to catch you. Hope you all come back again soon...

Thank you for the kind words, Atlanta was a strange show, the club was too big, we were having Sound issues, & emotional breakdowns, yet through it all we noticed a small number of ppl having fun which served as a strong hand holding us up above the distance and made the night memorable.
Then when it was all said and done we drank whiskey with the bartender and ran wild in the night outside of Atlanta with Nocturne. We do hope to return.
I have not checked if you ahve links to your music yet, but I will.
If not..maybe you can point me in the right direction.

I've seen alot of bands,....and I can only think of one (ok,...it's Crash Worship,...) as intense as you. You feel me with passion, desire,a sense of adventure and purpose...and suddenly, i'm a giddy 5 year old. (Ok here's the part where I dance around singing Madonna's "Like a Virgin"). You're energy is overwhelming,..........all I know is a a part of me that once died,...is suddenly alive because of you,.......let us pray I just drank too much! That would explain the bite marks!

For your visuals, and even music I believe... If you haven't seen Deviant Art yet, it's the hugest community for digital artists I've found yet.

Start with my page, then surf around...

See you when you hit Saint Louis again!!!!

I just read your post in my livejournal today(can you tell I don't go there much, lol) and I must say you are so very welcome about the good words and encouragement I posted here previously!
I don't bs people,in fact I'm known as the town bitch(not hard in a town of god),and I can honestly say that APOX has some of the visionary spirit that will keep music evolving. My husband and I had a killer time at the show,to the point that we were literally taken aback. It was that powerful. Despite whatever tech problems you guys may have had, know that you DID reach these two people!
Though in a different genre,I strive to convey the same power to people in my music,so we have that in common.
It is great to know you are doing what you do,so if you ever need a reminder of why, drop me a line, and I will definitely be more than happy to remind you!
