Apocalypse Theatre & The Dawg Daze of Summer

It has been a while since i have posted anything. Apox just completed another East coast tour and I never found time to post a damn thing. Now me and Kat are stationed in Chicago away from the others scouting the city and looking for stuff to do. Bozo Porno Circus will be in town Sunday (yeah)and tonight we plan to haunt the dirgy dives that spew soul and substance far & away from the Starbucks and Urban Outfitter cancer plauges that stain these streets with generic culture death infections. None the less- Chicago is still standing strong, and fighting the rising tides of all American "everything must comply and look the same." It does look a little bleak. Eitherway, most US Cities have already fallen to the hordes of empty consumer souls, the sports bars, the Alt rock chain- retail, coffee & trendy food intersections. The Era of Designer Crossroads... Blaugh. Aaargh!
Is there a chance to turn the meat machine against itself here in the windy metropolis?
Maybe I can help destroy the process with...with?... and then I ask the question;

Where oh where are the animal spirits? The nomads, pirates, and misfits? The resistance? Maybe they are hiding in darker underground corners. We will find each other and Chicago will burn with the insatiable hunger again. It is either that or we vomit, or fall asleep by a strange giant seed pod and wake up naked & feeling like we are one with the collective. hehehe (Maybe I am losing my grip..or maybe not..I do feel a wee bit insane..)

Where ya gonna run? Where ya gonna hide? NOWHERE.
Cause there is no-one like you left.

Hey, Mercy. Nick, from Columbia, MO. Just saw you guys again last night. Just wanted to say that I loved the show, even though it was only my second time hearing you guys live. Kudos, tho. Brilliant show. I think we were all expecting a little more music, but hey, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go.

Loved the accoustic number. And Kat did a great job, too. I do admit, I was a little nervous dancing on the floor with such a sessy lady :)

Anyway, thanks for comming to town again. It's stuff like your shows that make Columbia a lot cooler to live in.

Good energy and such to you and the rest of the band,
-Nick
